It's not that difficult to attend an event with a chapter that is ranked lower than yours and act like a gentleman or a lady for two hours. One Thursday night pregame out of the year where Alpha Phi isn't with Phi Psi or TKE does not signal the end of the world. If you go in with the attitude that "this is going to suck, omg this is so unfair" then guess what? It is going to suck and your'e not going to have fun. If you just get drunk (on free alcohol if you're a girl) with your best friends and take five minutes to talk to someone new you might actually have fun.
