to the person above: partying in an annex is not NEARLY as fun as partying in your own damn house. Partying in a frat mansion is way better than partying in some dumb annex. Being able to drink alcohol and have fun in your house is extremely important for rush. Sig chi, Tke, Kappa Sig, Phi psi, and other wet houses will have huge boosts to their recruiting. They can say, "Yeah dude, of course you can drink in our house! Of course you can party here! We're not losers!" Having a dry fraternity house will be awful for rush. Dudes do NOT want to live in dry houses, it is as simple as that. This is why, as of now, the main houses are not doing STEP (Delt is the only other relevant house, but they are dry as it stands. It'll be tough on them).
