As a pnm I've tried going into rush as open minded as possible, without having my heart set on getting a bid only from the "Big 5". However, I've found that while a couple of my favorites do sit in the top tier, I've found some other favorites a little lower on the list, one of those being kappa delta. Although kd isn't any Kappa or DG, all the actives I've been interviewed by during rush have been cute and easy to talk to, and all my friends seem to feel the same. My question is, what brings the negativity? From a pnm's perspective they don't seem to be quite as put together as the traditional top tier (looks, house, etc) but by no means do they seem comparable to middle tier houses like agd or tridelt (they're much less awkward, seem more social, and cuter for the most part). Is KD really that frowned upon?
