Using example ABC above, let's say you have ABC as #1 and you are #95 on their list. Since ABD filled their quota by stopping at #61, you will not get ABC and the computer will look at your #2. If you listed DEF as your #2 and you are on DEF's first list, you will get a bid from DEF. This is a very basic example because you are dealing with 900 PNMs that will attend Pref at 1 - 3 chapters and there are a lot of complicated scenarios. A note to all PNMs: THE COMPUTER WILL NOT DROP YOU. If you don't get a bid from any house it's because you were too low on all of the lists of the houses you ranked. Don't blame the computer.
