Poster Message:
Delta Zeta : legacy shall be defined as a sister/step-sister, daughter/step-daughter, granddaughter/step-granddaughter or great granddaughter/step-great granddaughter. A legacy shall be invited to at least one invitational formal recruitment event, provided she meets the chapter’s GPA requirement. A legacy receiving an invitation to the preference event shall be placed on the top of chapter’s bid list. AEPhi: A legacy is a great-granddaughter, granddaughter, daughter or sister of an AEPhi, without regard to chapter. This includes step granddaughters, daughters and sisters and half sisters. Cousins and nieces are not considered legacies. If a chapter has not achieved quota in formal recruitment or has not followed the Legacy Policy for any given year, it is required to bid all legacies for the next two years. A legacy SHOULD BE INVITED TO ALL PARTIES UP TO PREFERENCE, or at least two invitational rounds. If she is invited to preference, she MUST appear on the first bid list. AOPi: A legacy is defined as a sister, daughter, or granddaughter; a step-sister, step-daughter, or step-granddaughter; or an adopted sister, daughter, or granddaughter of an initiated member of Alpha Omicron Pi (alive or deceased). In no case should a legacy be denied an invitation to at least one invitational event after the first round of events. If a legacy accepts an invitation to the final preference party, her name is to be placed on the chapter’s quota list (also known as first bid list).
