XO vs. Theta

What these chapters have in common in scholarship and involvement. Both recruit incredible women and certainly cross-pref a lot. Also, both chapters have very involved (sometimes controlling) advisers. The difference is in social schedule and presentation. Theta is more social, which is why they are "top tier". Theta does events with a variety of frats, but they are certainly within the top 5 faves for most fraternities. Also, their apparel and general presentation tends to be more polished than Chi O. Chi O is also a great chapter, but is "middle tier". Yes, they have had an event with Phi Psi, but I would argue that having their houses across the street from each other helped a lot on that one. Chi O tends to have fewer social events than Theta. However, Chi O shines over Theta in terms of sisterhood. Because their chapter is less diverse (Theta is a blend of hard partiers and bookworms which is a strength and division). Chi O seems to value scholarship, involvement, and seems a bit more athletic than Theta. Both are great, but those are the differences.
