1. are fraternities friendly with each other? On an individual basis it's pretty common to be on good terms or friends with people from different chapters. On a chapter to chapter basis not really. Most chapters do their own events with the exception of TKE and Sigma Chi who have a close relationship. In general though, no, you wouldn't just show up to another chapter's event and there's an "us vs. them" attitude.
