Each year its getting harder. If you have a huge Sophomore class, why would you take so many Sophomores when it will be tougher to replace them when they all go alum at once? I' m not saying you can't get a bid, some chapters will decide not to take so many Sophs and Jrs. OSU Greek system is changing quite a bit. Girls used to be able to get bids with low GPAs. I don't think there is a house that will take someone under a 2.7 and most wont look at you if your GPA is under a 3.0 anymore regardless of what they publish. Quota used to be 25 and chapters couldn't hit it. Guess what, most hit the 45 last year. Many chapters couldn't hit the 100 total for years. What was quota last year? 142 and at least half were over total. A lot of chapter are over total right now and didn't need to do COR. They can be choosier and not care. Those that still need numbers (you can figure that one out) will be happy to fill their slots with upperclassmen. I wouldn't be too sure of those who have the largest total.
