Is Greek life here at OSU just a Rat Race of fraternities trying to not be the one kicked off? Or are the ones who have been kicked off and returned lately better off? Or even a mix of both, with the absolute best completely avoiding it and those in the middle just bumping around until theyre kicked off and then return? Phi Psi, TKE, Sig Chi, Sammy, and Beta were all the "top houses" and avoided being on probation (until these last two years removed Sammy and Beta, and left SigChi a mess) Kappa Sig and Delt were both kicked off only to return a few years later, but never regain prior strength. Pike and Phi Delt have both been on and off suspension (like SigChi was) but never officially kicked off. Fiji, ATO, Sig Ep, and SAE were all pulled within the last 20 years because of low participation and failure to meet national requirements. I feel like its not ironic that these fraternities are in similar catagories now based on what happened to them, but I dont really understand why...?
