Here is the deal. By suiciding, that meant you were not guaranteed a bid or eligible for a snap bid. Yes you can do informal but at this point, nobody really knows who will be doing it. If a chapter only has a few openings, they will typically be invitation only so you might not have a selection. As for fall informal, you will be a junior and again you choices will be limited. Similarly, if a chapter only has a few openings, they are invite only -- you might or might not be given an invitation. I don't want to sugar coat this but as a junior, you can get a bid but chances are reduced more than what it was this year.
