Totally agree with everything you said. I just want to add that your chances will likely improve if you work super hard on academics this year (the most likely reason to get dropped from all houses is low grades) and become friends with girls in other houses who will vouch for you during informal and formal. It is very much not personal (I know that's hard to believe but it's true) and girls fall through the cracks every year. Don't give up!
