Dropped

<strong>Subject:</strong><br />if you were dropped ..<br /><br /> Poster Message:
Get dropped by all houses? I’m sorry. Some girls fall through the cracks or the timing isn’t right, but I genuinely believe if you want to be in Greek life for the right reasons. You have a fit. I personally was dropped by all houses my first round of recruitment, but I ended up in the perfect house at the perfect time, so don’t give up. Ways to still go greek (social Greek chapters): - Check out major-based chapters. Phi Rho (STEM) & ASU (agriculture) are both PHA chapters and still recruiting this week. Phi Rho is very much so a normal social sorority that interacts with other Greek chapters, just smaller. ASU is very small & tends to interact only with agriculture based chapters. DOK is another major-based chapter (pre-health) and functions similar to Phi Rho, But is NOT technically a PHA chapter. - Keep an eye out to see what chapters will do informal (if any) this spring. They will post about it on social media if they’re having events you can attend (so keep following chapters accounts) - Wait until fall for more informal: sometimes you’re dropped for GPA or because it wasn’t the right time for you to go Greek. Waiting until fall can help fix that! - Rerush during formal next year. I only reccomend this for freshman, but sophomores can try as well. - Reach out to your Rho Gams! Even if you got cut, they want you to find your home & most of them will talk with you about it if you want :) Letters don’t define you, and if you truly think they would, it’s not the right time for you to go Greek :) Try to not take it personally & was all to someone about it if you are. We know it can be a brutal process rushing & we hate when girls have their hearts broken rushing.
