You have a couple options: 1) List both houses on tonight's ranking and accept the bid you get tomorrow (if you list both houses you are guaranteed a bid). Some people were dropped completely last night, so at least these chapters did see something in you. And who knows, you may love it. With this option, you can always drop before initiation and try again next formal recruitment (you would not be allowed to do informal after dropping if you signed the bid agreement) 2) Don't sign the bid agreement. See if you get a snap bid from one of your preferred chapters (in all honestly this likely won't happen, as few chapters do snap bids, and those chapters tend to be the ones that struggle in recruitment anyways - but it's still possible). If you don't, try informal recruitment or formal recruitment. However, with this option, you're still likely not going to get one of your preferred houses because they have already dropped you. (Again, not saying it's impossible, but I'm trying to be completely honest. However ,raising your grades and becoming friends with the girls in the house would increase your chances). I'd recommend thinking about why these two chapters are your bottom choice? Is it for superficial reasons? Is it because you thought you made better connections in the houses that dropped you and are just disappointed? Your feelings are valid, but I know plenty of women who have joined houses they originally ranked bottom and found a home (and have later realized they wouldn't have actually been a fit in the houses they originally preferred). Just something to consider. Plus, as a new member, you have 3-ish years to improve your chapter. What attracted you to the other chapters? Try to bring those qualities into your new chapter, if you decide to not drop out. Whatever you decide, good luck!
