Not true. I don’t like this advice because some people can tell some houses aren’t a good fit, even if the house is willing to give them a bid. If they accept then drop, they can’t join another chapter so I don’t suggest that. I would suggest: • Discussing your options with your Rho Gams. This is what they’re there for. They may be able to help you decide if you should drop the house or not. • Check out chapter’s like Phi Rho or DOK if you’re eligible by Major (but DOK isn’t PHA, just so you know). • Really ask why you don’t want the house left. Is it superficial or just genuinely not a good fit ( for a legit reason) • Wait until fall for more COB or wait until next spring to rush again (maybe with a better GPA to help)
