Pretty much this. There's so many PNMs going through recruitment, houses can't afford to be choosy. Most Actives that don't recruit choose not to recruit and instead help with recruitment behind the scenes. I've done both sides and they both have their pros and cons. Plus it wouldn't make any sense. PNMs can obviously search hashtags and see what women in the sorority look like, chapter-wide photos and composites exist, and if a chapter was that shallow they probably wouldn't be giving bids to the women you claim they're hiding in the basement in the first place...
