really sad to see so many pnms not even giving houses a chance. recruitment is hard on almost everyone and it sucks, but if you are in greek life for the right reasons and max your options, you end up at home. unless you only have like one house left and that house was really mean to you, then its hard to feel bad for any of them. I would definitely try informal and you should really try to keep a more open mind. it's something thats hard to do when this site exists. makes u want to just cut all bottom and lower middle sororitys just for their rank, then girls cry about them being all thats left, when really they would probably fit in there and love it, but they woould never know because of the bias they get from greekrank. so many of these stories are the same. we get it. you wanted to be in top tier/upper middle and got cut. It's sad and lots of us have been there. if greek life is what you want, u need to be open to more places. Not trying to criticize your decisions specifically, but your story seems to be what so many other girls go through. its sad when girls don't get bids at all, girls who would love to run home and meet their new sisters, but then there are girls who are less grateful and dont give the wonderful houses they do have left a chance. breaks my heart :/ best of luck through informal tho, girl.
