houses that are historically good and have elaborate homes. If your chapter was/is good alums stay involved, if alums are involved they offset tons of daily costs (donating meals for recruitment, sponsoring members who fall into financial hardship, etc) they're also the big donors for house renovations, and are well connected on campus to allow more bad behavior slide (ie. kappa all these years) So to guess who cares about recs and legacies; DG Pi Phi DDD Theta Kappa ^the longest operating chapters, have the biggest/nicest homes, fundraise the most. Alpha Phi and KD have smaller/homier houses, and you'll notice they aren't in a position to renovate or buy (Alpha Phi actually had to sell land to afford taxes awhile back, Pi Phi bought it for their parking lot)
