DG is undoubtably in the top 3 chapters on campus, usually closer to 1 or 2. That being said, it is clearly going to be competitive in the sense that they will absolutely have a full pledge class. However, you shouldn’t really think of recruitment as a competition because it’s mutual ranking and you’re not going to be able to really fake your way into a top house. You’re either going to be the fit they’re looking for and want you, or not. You’ll either fit in or won’t, then combine that with a lot of politics that come along with most top tiers.
