Unsure if you know this already, but Phi Sigma Rho only takes STEM majors (they have mostly engineers and then a few others, not exactly sure on the specifics). Some women like being surrounded by those with similar majors and similar challenges, while other don't want that and choose a different sorority. They'll tell you during recruitment how Phi Sigma Rho works, but they do some social stuff - just not as much as the other sororities. Otherwise, every chapter has a handful of STEM majors. Those towards the bottom end of the GPA rankings tend to have more for obvious reasons. But that's something you can ask during recruitment. It shouldn't bar you from rushing at all. Just know you won't have the same social life as some of the other girls in your chapter. (unless you're the girl that gets 4.0s and goes out twice a week - in which case more power to you) My point is it's up to you how much time you spend studying and how much time you spend socializing.
