GPA 200% matters. I was cut from my house originally when I rushed the first time because my GPA was below our chapter’s standards (not PHA’s). I actually was cut from every house my first time, not all becaus of that, but likely due to it a lot because I had a 2.7 at the time. I’m an engineering major which SUCKED because they didn’t take that into account compared to majors that have a history of higher GPAs. They don’t care because even if you’re in a hard major, your lower GPA will bring their chapter’s down. GPA is huge. If you have above a 3, you’re fine. Below, some houses will cut you. Depends on each specific house.
