Yes, it's less competitive in the fall but I believe all sororities except DG (and maybe ZTA) would be required to vote to lower their standards for you due to Ohio State chapter GPA minimums. Unless they need a lot of members, you'd be their last pick even if you're an ideal member in other aspects. Try hard in classes this semester and go through formal in the fall (if you're taking any summer classes, that'll help too). You'd probably need at least a 2.8 to be competitive at all as an upperclassman, but know now that you'll probably be dropped from a lot of houses early on due to your grade rank and GPA. But that doesn't mean you won't have a great rush and join a great house! I can promise you that you won't be dropped by all houses as long as you're friendly and open-minded during rush.
