Well the houses that did invite you back see something very special in you and have invited you to pref, which means they basically can see you being a sister. The houses that cut you, for one reason or another, did not. You may have thought they were the perfect fit for you, but if they didn't take the chance on you, you should not be upset, because they are missing out on you. The actives know their chapter better than you do, and will know whether or not you will actually fit with them. I felt similar when getting cut last year when i did informal, but thinking about this made me feel better. Try to focus on the houses you have on the table right now, because they like you and would be happy to have you. Plus, if there are houses you had your heart set on im sure lots and lots of other girls did too. It's hard to get into some houses but if a house likes you and you are a good fit and meet requirements, you will be accepted. Trust the actives making the cuts, the ones who still have invited you back thus far clearly can see themselves clicking with you and accept you. All the houses here awesome in their own ways, and you may end up realizing your new house is perfect and maybe you had your heart set on these other ones for the wrong reasons.
