Yes, the pledge period is the toughest. Do not make your sorority look bad and do not be rude to any members (well you shouldn't do that anyways, but be especially careful during your pledge period not to step on any toes, even by accident) Sorry about your experience though. I am extremely fortunate my Big talked to me about toning it down a bit and that my sorority decided to give me a 2nd chance because I for sure made a lot of mistakes Freshman year.
