I understand your point, and my heart absolutely goes out to the girl who was injured. But when you have a a situation where a member was critically injured in their chapter house, it affects the entire chapter. Chapter houses are already very strict on alcohol, and not to mention the insurance liability. Personally, my chapter's insurance policy is voided if alcohol is found on the premises. Even worse, the girl wasn't found for a couple of hours (or so I've heard). That speaks volumes. You mean to tell me nobody found this poor girl who fell from the third floor immediately? That is unacceptable, and whomever is in charge of their chapter facility should really be fired. This hurts the entire Greek community, because not only did we have a chapter who got kicked off for hazing, but now this incident. Everything will be a lot more strict because this is the second injury we've had on campus this academic year. So yeah, we are all concerned.
