Deciding whether or not to maximize your options is a really serious decision that you will hear about at length from rho gammas. All I can say is talk to your rho gammas if you walk away from pref with any doubts about what to list on your card. There isn't a right answer. If you KNOW 100% ABSOLUTELY you won't accept a bid from a chapter then it's stupid to list them and take a spot from another girl. That being said, every chapter has something to offer you so I hope you have an open mind. And no, under no situation are you EVER guaranteed a bid. (unless you're a legacy at pref night which is a whole separate discussion.) NEVER. EVER. The poster above is mistaken on that point. RFM is complicated, and yes quota additions are a thing, but as a PNM you don't need to worry about any of that. Just focus on enjoying your parties!
