The reason why Alpha Phi, DG, or Chi O are considered the top houses is because they are mostly filled with pretty/outgoing girls who like to have fun and are more selective with who they recruit. The same goes for fraternities like Phi Psi, SAE and Beta. Most of them are attractive guys who are outgoing, like to have fun and party the hardest. These houses bid specific types of guys, whereas middle and bottom houses are more diverse and more of a mixed bag as far as the type of guys who are in their house.
