No one can speak for every chapter, but in my experience: Anything over a 3.5 and you're an asset to a chapter. 3.3-3.5, probably going to be in a solid position. 3.0-3.2, starts to get shaky, but if you're strong in other areas it shouldn't be a deal breaker. Below a 3.0: Not impossible, but don't get your hopes up. This is for incoming freshman, for sophomores and juniors your gpa usually matters more.
