Oregons greek life is good depending on what you want. For the big fraternity scene that some kids want (like a Michigan, Alabama, anywhere in the SEC, and FSU to name a few) this will not be the school for them. Sure Oregon greek alumni give a lot of funding to the school, but its like that at all over the country. Grades are just higher being in greek life on average so unless you have facts that Oregon is significantly different i do not think its a good point to bring up. The dry campus hurts Oregon because many people dont feel the need to go greek like other schools. The party scene is not dominated by greek life like other schools, but its not like the greeks dont throw parties. I would say that Oregon has a decent greek system, if they went wet and had more people going through the recruitment process then i think they would be a lot better (i know some people are trying to do this). But a lack of a fraternity row really hurts as well, as well as the administration not liking most of greek life (they love delts and a few others too). Not the best place to be a greek, but it is still fun and has many benefits.
