FRATERNITY There is more said than the sororities, just because it's coming from a girl… I felt obligated to write my personal love for these houses. AEPI: Bunch of nice dudes in this house. Not the most attractive house but realistically these are the type of guys that are accepting of everyone which is so nice for a change. They throw public parties and have a pretty great brotherhood going on. Heard they are losing their house, not entirely sure if it's true, but expect them to throw even more because of that. Underrated pledge class ASIG: HUGE improvements from last year, mainly because they got Phi Psi’s house. They got a big pledge class this year as well so the fraternity is also growing which is always a good thing. Their parties are low key but you’ll have a good time regardless. Brothers tend to keep to themselves but have been reaching out to other fraternities. Brotherhood seems very tight as well. Be on the look for yet another big pledge class in the spring! ATO: Their name is definitely getting put out there as they are constantly showing up to philanthropies and love to wear their letters around campus. ATO has a very close brotherhood because of their relatively small size as of now, but I can see them growing soon. Really chill guys who know how to have a good time. A big pledge class for this spring would help them dearly. Chi Psi: Not the most popular fraternity here but these guys are very welcoming. They know their position on campus so they take advantage of it by just being themselves and not anyone they’re trying to be. Still gonna remain where they belong, but hopefully, they get a few more guys. DSIG: Delta Sig has some really cool dudes. Parties have stayed consistent, and I heard their toga party was pretty cool too. They are all very chill guys who know how to have fun either at parties or just hanging out. Their house is also very close to campus and on the safe side so the walk is never that bad. They have close ties with some sororities which helps their social scene. Their tailgates are also cool and they even provide some free drinks which is always good. No huge changes as of now, but both guys and girls like them for good reasons. DTD: The Delts have gotten very popular as this pledge class is by far one of the more social ones. Because of that, their parties have been killer all year and their themed ones are always a blast. Boys have always been husband material and a lot of nice girls hang with them because of that. Also heavily involved, the smartest/hardworking (top in grades by .20) and seems like they have a good rep with other frats and strats. If they continue what they are doing now and recruit more social boys, they will thrive. They are gaining a lot of momentum right now so definitely the house to watch for in the spring. DU: Not the most popular fraternity, but the guys seem nice. I’ve met a few good ones and they are pretty funny. Also lost their house which sucks, but hopefully they can come back. They are very close to sigma kappa which will be good for them to keep that social scene going. Might not be the most ideal fraternity right now, but if you would like some social aspect at college, this is the house for you. Continued...
