You'll hear from your Rho gammas that classes and academics come first, so they'll tell you not to skip any classes for recruitment. But look at it from the sororities' perspectives. They only have so many bids to give out, and they're gonna give it to the girls they know better. As a freshman you should be able to move your evening classes to an earlier time, or just drop those classes and take new ones altogether because it's not like you have to take these classes fall term right away since you have so much time.
