Every girl who rushes is different, and has a different idea in mind of what she is looking for in a sorority. There are amazing aspects to each chapter on our campus, and it's best to go with the house that is ideal for you. You will have opportunities to lead, to make lifelong friendships, to go out and have a good time, and to give back no matter what sorority you're in. There are top-tier qualities in every single sorority, and you should choose the house where you feel is most comfortable for YOU. Do stereotypes exist? Yes. It would be stupid not to acknowledge them. Nevertheless, that shouldn't be a deciding factor when you're choosing. In 4 years, if you've enjoyed your Greek experience, it isn't going to matter if a few people speculated about the "tier" of the sorority you're in. You get what you put into it; if you are an active member of your organization, you will reap all the benefits that Greek life has to offer, whichever letters you wear around campus.
