I would suggest that you give it some time. Distance yourself when its needed and try to participate when you feel comfortable. If there is anyone you'd feel comfortable talking to about this in the chapter I suggest that you do. If it comes to the point that you're so uncomfortable that its something you don't want to be a part of then talk to someone that you need to about possibly dropping. You can always go through recrutment next year as long as you aren't initiated yet. Don't let yourself be miserable, sorority life is about sisterhood and the values that you all support and share not about backstabbing or forcing you to like certain foods!! If its a true sisterhood, then they will accept you as you are.
