If you're freshman, live on campus. You will have a lot more opportunities to meet people and living off the first year can make you feel really secluded. Plus, living in the dorms with loads of other people is great. Easy to meet girls and easier to sleep with them since you live down the hall from each other. Also when you're rushing, living on campus gives you way more opportunity to hang out with your potential pledge brothers. Live on campus. Wanting to live off campus to drink or smoke is living off for the wrong reasons. tl;dr living on campus is the best choice freshman/sophomore year, after that do whatever you'd like.
