They do if they don't get enough girls during rush or if enough of those girls quit. Be warned that you'll have limited options, but you'd have limited options anyway for being a transfer rather than a freshman. It sucks, I know. Unless you're talking about fraternities, in which case, you'd be better off talking to the individual chapters and their rush chairs.
