I’m just curious, I have been wanting to drop out of my sorority for awhile. Why? I honestly haven’t made nearly as many friends as I excepted. I can count the amount of people I would consider to be my friends on one hand while the amount of girls who have never had a conversation with me is probably close to 30. Dues are whack. They are so mega expensive, I don’t need to explain. Not to mention fines on top of that! I have actually made some really amazing friends outside my sorority and I would love to spend more time with them but my sorority seems to suck all my free time up. The fake image that they want me to have. Nobody ever says anything but it’s there. The thoughts when I put on an outfit I think is really cute but wonder if a girl in my sorority will see it and hate it or right before I post a picture on Instagram I wonder if I’m sending the posh cute rich girl look my sorority wants me to. And finally, it just doesn’t make me very happy. I feel trapped. I 100% understand why some people love it, I have met amazing people. But it generally just exhausts me. Does anyone else ever have any thoughts like this?
