As a person who knows the answer: the real reason Chi O’s UNT Alpha Alpha chapter does not have a house has nothing to do with a serial killer. It’s literally just because when the rest of sorority row was being built the chapter members at the time voted to instead buy a plot of land and build their own lodge off campus that they, as a chapter, would own and it wouldn’t be UNT’s property or delegated by any UNT officials. Basically all the houses on sorority row are UNT property so if the school ever decided to knock them down to make way for something else they could, while Chi O would not be affected because they are not on campus and own their lodge- they also have their own reserved parking on their property.
