I hope everyone loved recruitment and that all the new members feel at home in their new chapters!!! If you don't, give it time. Not everyone falls in love with their chapter right away, sometimes it takes time but trust that you are there for a reason. When it gets closer to initiation if you still are questioning whether you want to be there or not, then that is the time to drop. If you do it too soon before you give it a chance you might seriously regret it, so be open minded. And remember, if you went through formal recruitment and got a bid (therefore you signed the papers) you have to wait until FALL recruitment to rush again. You cannot do spring recruitment. Keep in mind when making decisions like this that most girls who rush again a second time after dropping the sorority they got a bid from the first time, most of the time these women do not end up finding their home and leave their second recruitment even more disappointed. Remember that everyone has a place and you were given a bid to this sorority for a reason- they want you and they believe that you will positively impact their chapter. They trust that you can uphold their values and be a great addition to their sisterhood, so offer them the same trust by giving it a chance to see if it is the place for you or not. Each chapter on campus is amazing and they all have their ups and downs. I promise no sorority is problem free and no sorority here is perfect. Each chapter is both unique and wonderful. Panhel love!
