I am SO glad im done with greek life! I joined a sorority and I liked it at first, but I came to realize being in greek life brings a whole new dimension of drama and cattiness that I didn't want to be a part of. I almost transferred schools because being in a sorority made my first year so unpleasant and stressful. I'm looking forward to being non-greek this year. I suggest to anyone interested in rushing that they don't join unless they 100% fit into the sorority girl mold. DON'T feel pressured to join like I did, you'll make more true friends without it and have more free time to be your own person. And Agree and Seriously are both right, the only things sororities do charity-wise are all mandatory attendance or we don't get to have socials and we get fined. And all greeks are forced to go to other sororities and fraternities charity events so that all the events look successful. Gotta give OU sororities credit though, they do contribute two things to campus: drama and elitism.
