<strong>Subject:</strong><br />fraternity rankings <br /><br /> Poster Message:
Fraternities: 1. Phi psi: the obvious top fraternity on campus by a large gap. Biggest bar presence, best sorority connections, good parties and a strong group of guys with a solid pledge class. 2. Beta: last year Beta and phi psi were competing for that top spot but Beta has lost a step in my opinion. They still have connections in the bars and with sororities but a weaker pledge class and parties, they dropped a step. 3. Acacia: the boys in acacia have stuck around in that top 3 or 4 for a while now. While also have connections in the bars and with sororities, these connections run less deep then the top 2 fraternities. Definitely are creeping up on the number 2 spot though. 4. Phi Tau: phi tau lost their momentum after getting put on probation for the dye is life tournament as they were put on probation with SAE and KSIG. They couldn’t throw for Halloween and lost some hype but a decent pledge class and a solid start to the year keeps them at 4. 5. SAE: SAE had a similar story this semester as phi tau as they had a good pledge class and had great events towards the beginning of the year, but after the dye is life tournament and being put on probation, they lost momentum with Halloween and any event towards the end of the semester. SAE still has a good house and pledge class that puts them at number 5. 6. FIJI: Fiji has fell into a major plateau that they can’t get out of. They do not have the pull or guys to get themselves out of this mid tier status and I can’t see them doing it for a while. They still have solid events that keep them at the number 6 spot. 7. K SIG: K SIG is a giant group of guys with no house. The events they pull of with sororities and homecoming gives them some respect, but at the end of the day, they throw anyone and anything a bid and have no house. They need a house to solidify themselves on campus. 8. Theta Chi: not much to say, geeds love them but they’re irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. 9. Pike: irrelevant with no house, but a solid group of guys. It’s hard to put them above anyone with a house though. 10. TKE: threw with beta and geeds love them. A small group of guys within this fraternity are solid but the overwhelming number of lesser guys in this fraternity along with no house keeps them down. 11. Phi delt and aepi: no words at all. Bottom tier.
