LOL no. Most girls in greek life (and most students who go here) are from Ohio, so no you don't have to be rich. There are a mix of girls who are considered upper middle class and girls who fall below or maybe a bit above that but it's more about how you present yourself. Dress/look well put together and have good conversations and money won't matter (Although some houses DO recruit on looks but thats a whole different thing.) Not having a lot of money won't keep you from a house if they like you based on other things. Not sure where the rich stereotype comes from at all but it's funny when girls here forget they don't live on the west coast. Just because you live in a 500k house in a suburb, just remember at the end of the day...it's still Ohio.
