For sororities, depending on the year, pledge classes will be about 45-55 girls. By the time those girls are seniors, most sororities only have about 20-30 of the original class left. Once you hit junior year a lot of girls drop due to involvement in other things, deciding they've made more friends elsewhere, to focus on schoolwork, got an internship, etc. also when you're 21 there's less reason to be involved in Greek life. That's the general pattern I've noticed. But you typically won't be kicked out of an org once you get in unless you royally screw up
