As long as their is a rank or percentage system put in place on this website it will fail to be an accurate representation of greek life at NYU. There is no honesty in a lot of these ranking when people are voting down other chapters to elevate their own percentage or rank. Also the wide array of disrespect from people here is just plain nasty. In theory this website is great because you find out the truth about organizations and not fall for the lies they tell you during recruitment and new member process, but it has just became a place to perpetuate stigmas. Yes some of them are warranted and needed, for example if a chapter hazes and you do not want to be a part of that, you should have access to that information before you sign your bid sheet on pref night. If an chapter has terrible sisterhood and cattiness, you should know that before the new member process or initiation, especially if joining a sorority here was to find a "home away from home." However, what is not necessary is saying things like "this chapter take the leftovers from recruitment," "by far the best sorority," "social butterflies that every frat begs to mix with" or other things along this line. Everyone rushes at the same time, so how exactly can one or two particular chapters take the "leftovers?" We all handle voting, preferencing, etc. the same nights so it's not possible.
