all three will give you that “top tier” status and are generally very involved in the panhel community both with NYU events and social things with fraternities Aephi is known for going super hard for NYDM and hosting super fun events for fundraisers and date parties/formals. They get a lot of hate on here for their lack of diversity because they have historically recruited mostly based on looks/money, but I think they’re really trying to improve that. Cons are that they have a reputation for being not as friendly towards other orgs, and have a small national presence. Their new member process is a little more intense from what I hear. Dphie is known for being super proud of their individualism and unique/quirky traits. They aren’t known for going as hard for their philanthropy, though their annual “deepher dudes” fundraiser is always an awesome event. Generally known for being very fun girls. They have a smaller national presence. Their new member process is usually called into question every year for being super intimidating (people have tried to tear them down for “hazing,” but I wouldn’t go that far. Just more intense expectations, I think some girls cried?) Zeta is known for being super outgoing. They are the most dedicated to their own philanthropy (lots of big events for that), but generally the least involved in nydm of the three. They take pride in their large national presence, which is good if you’re looking for networking. I think their dues are higher than the other two, but I don’t know by how much. (NYU sororities are generally pretty inexpensive regardless).
