I know this might be hard to believe but stuff like this happens during normal recruitment as well. I got dropped by 5 orgs after day one if recruitment when I rushed and it really sucked and I thought something was wrong with me. I later found out the org I ended up getting really wanted me and now I’m a senior and couldn’t have imagined it going any other way. I also know several girls who felt behind with the recruitment process that ended up doing informal and felt like it was much more personal if it helps.
