"Because they have quotas to fill mandated by nationals you’re likely to get in to at least one." That's not how quota works. Quota/Total are set by NYU panhellenic. Yes, national organizations want their chapters to meet quota during formal recruitment & maintain (or be above) total during the year, but they don't set Quota. Honestly, to the OP - you have a good attitude re. no worrying about a specific organization & keeping an open mind. I think virtual recruitment is a much better way to meet these ladies and not be swayed by outside influences & room decorations. People join people. They don't join instagrams. If you vibe with the person/people you get to talk to on zoom, you will vibe with many more women in that chapter. And your new member class will be the group you are closest to anyway. Hoping you find your sorority community when all is said & done.
