PNMs - regardless of what you see on this site, try to stay as unbiased as possible during recruitment. When I was going through rush, people really liked even some of the “bottom” sororities on the first day and allowed themselves to be swayed based on talking to other people who had clearly been on Greek rank. Just make the most of every moment in every room and try to make your choice based on who YOU personally connected with, not who you think is better. The tea is, everyone in every sorority ends up at the same parties, the same bars, etc. Since at NYU there are no frat houses, every frat party is an open party, so what you’re joining a sorority for is/should be mainly social and finding YOUR group of friends. So pick based on who you click with, not who you think will boost your social score. Just my two cents thooooo
