See if you like any organizations in the Spring. (By that I mean go to an event and actually talk to them. This website is so janky and not a good representation of any organization.) Meeting whoever does Spring Recruitment does not mean that you have to for sure join them. If you are not interested in ever doing Spring Recruitment than it sounds like you have to wait for Junior year to try. Is it more important to you to be in a sorority and experience a longer time with them, or to be in one specific sorority? There is also the chance that you might not get the one you wanted. Despite what anyone says, it is slightly harder to go through Recruitment as a junior. I did it because I was in almost the same scenario as you. You get some weird looks, people question you. In recruitment instead of them getting to know you, they want to know why you rushed so late. Waiting to try to join one specific one means you miss out on an additional year and a half of sisterhood, and you still might not even get into the one you waited for.
