Poster Message:
Each chapter is different about what they look at in membership selection. In the two years I have been through recruitment as an active the only time I remember any dicussion about legacy status to another chapter coming up was when the girl had an older sister who was an active in a chapter. So not an issue probably if you like other chapters better than GPhi. I will say this: The previous poster is correct. You pretty much identified yourself to the chapters/recruitment chairs. Your post shows very poor judgment on your part (bashing a sorority before you have even met them). Some people might call GPhi "lower tier," but they have some really great girls. I have made several good friends in that chapter through other activities, as have other girls in my house. Because of the way recruitment is done ("RMF") we have to release/cut a percentage of girls each round. Because a lot of girls have great grades, lots of activities, etc., any negativity associated with a PNM can get her cut (particularly by the "top tier" chapters that have to make the biggest cuts early on). You just gave most chapters a reason to cut your early on. Sorry. Hope you learn from this.
