The fall update is super detailed for those of you looking to rush but not looking to go back two pages in the discussion: greekrank.com/uni/220/topic/667421/2015-fraternity-updates/ I've always said we have a greek life that is too weak to do tiers, however last semester led to a slight change. While we are still too weak to do tiers we have grown enough where there are clearly some fraternities leading the way, we are now a "Big Four" school. Big Four (ABC order) Kappa Sig: Pros- Fun, large, frequent parties. Heavy presence at the bars. Popular philanthropy. Cons- Lack of exclusivity. Lack of true pledgeship. Untraditional. Phi Tau: Pros- House. Fun, extremely rowdy parties. Traditional. Cons- Too exclusive. Always on rocky terms with CSU/IFC. New(ish) chapter. Pi Kapp: Pros- House. Fun, large parties. Great philanthropy. Cons - Lack of exclusivity. Untraditional. Sigma Chi: Pros- Fun, smaller parties. Longest running chapter on campus. Traditional. Cons- Rumors of getting in trouble. Their main/popular guys graduating this year. Honorable mentions: ATO: Pros- Trending up. Nice guys. Traditional. Cons- Small numbers. Fall pledgeclass had some goobers. Sig Nu: Small, fun parties. Nice guys. Cons- Not very popular. Untraditional. Pike: Pros- Party. Cons- Kicked off again? If so seems unlikely they can ever get enough numbers to officially claim their apartment building/house as stipulated by nationals. Untraditional. SAE: No pledgeship = social club
