Bummed to learn this. I was told legacy status wasn't important. I am a legacy in all top three (mother, and 2 sisters) but got cut from them all, Wtf? Really happy where I landed (top 6), but I'm "normal" and considered attractive and guess I'm surprised to learn that even with my legacy status I wasn't considered "good enough" (does this mean I'm actually a dog)I also have a decent gpa, so I'm pretty disappointed to learn that being a legacy is important after I was told repeatedly it didn't matter (I'm a sophomore btw). Freshman, get your recs in, because apparently they matter way more than people say
